Julianne Hough first joined Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) in 2007. And as a professional dancer, Julianne wowed both DWTS viewers and judges. But after winning several seasons with her celebrity partners, Hough exited the show.

However, the pro dancer later returned to Dancing With The Stars as a judge. And even though Julianne moved on, her fans enjoy keeping up with her on social media. However, a recent post stunned her followers. Find out why below.

Whether as an actress or as a professional dancer, Julianne Hough overflows with energy and optimism. But the Dancing With The Stars alum, 34, just revealed a stunning different side of herself on Instagram. And fans reacted accordingly. In a new video, Julianne discussed her path to healing via Yahoo. 

However, Hough held back on all the details of her heartbreak. But the video showed reflective moments. For instance, Julianne shared throwback pics of herself at dance competitions. And she wrote in her caption about her struggles.

“I’m not going to lie, healing is not easy. Just when you think you’ve reached the center of the spiral, you realize there is another, even deeper layer that you didn’t even know existed,” shared the DWTS alum. “But I have faith and so much belief that it is worth it.”

And Julianne added, “This journey back to LOVE humbles me every day.” However, Hough also took time to thank those who guided her on her journey. And she shared on Instagram her appreciation for “all the beautiful souls who have touched my life over the years and have helped me feel safe enough to break open my heart little by little, with patience and understanding, when all I wanted to do was protect the hell out of it, you know who you are, thank you and I love you.”

DWTS – Fans React To Julianne Hough

Because Hough held back on details, fans didn’t know exactly how to help her. But they did reach out to share their appreciation of her emotional confession. And Dancing With the Stars fans responded with love. For instance, one wrote, “You are very strong, and you have a lot of people who support you, and will help you through your journey of life! You are not alone.❤️❤️❤️.”

And another one of the DWTS alum’s followers shared, “You got this. One day at a time. Healing is a journey and not a destination as you know Jules.” Several expressed their admiration for Julianne. For example, one wrote, “You are powerful. Sending you love ❤️.”

Hough’s emotional video comes after her split from now-ex husband Brooks Laichin June 2022. And the actress/professional dancer recently talked in an interview about her Broadway play POTUS. “Life is about choices … I’ve always shared a lot of my personal, private life on Instagram,” noted the DWTS alum.

And Julianne explained that the show shares her life. “But through my art expression versus I’m getting on Instagram and telling you all my thoughts and feelings, emotions and private details,” added Hough. “This was a show for myself to kind of gain my confidence back of like, you are an artist, you’re not just a performer and you can create.”
