Sarah Ferguson Has Prince Andrew’s Full Support As She Goes Hollywood

Meghan Markle might want to move aside. That’s because Royal Family News suggests it might be Sarah Ferguson who will be the next member of the royal family who will dip her toes in the Hollywood pool in the hopes that she will get to see her name in lights.

That, or at least see her name in the closing credits of a major television drama. Either way, it looks like it might happen. Here’s what you need to know.

As many fans know, Sarah Ferguson has been pretty busy promoting her historical romance books in both the UK and the US. Her latest title is A Most Intriguing Lady, and is currently flying off bookshelves and selling well on Amazon, too.

In a new interview with The Mirror, Fergie hinted that she’s currently in talks with a few major production companies as she’s hoping to turn her books into successful television dramas. And because she’s been getting so many rave reviews, there’s speculation that her books might be turned into a series.

Fergie said, “I’m going to let you into a secret. We have been talking to production companies and there is real interest in turning both novels into a period TV drama. I am so excited about it, I would love to see someone like Jess Buckley play my heroine.”

Fergie also said that her two daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, have been hugely supportive and that her ex-husband Prince Andrew, “tells me they [books] are fabulous.”
