Jana Kramer Shares Blind Date With Brody Jenner Was Her ‘Absolute Worst’

You think you’ve had “worst moments” in your life? Wait till you hear country singer Jana Kramer’s blind date story. We all have that one day that we consider our worst day ever. Most Times it’s not just an entire day, it could just be a moment. Now, imagine that moment happening on the day you were scheduled for a blind date!

Jana Kramer — Why Jana Considers Her Blind Date The “Absolute Worst”

During the latest episode of her “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” podcast, Jana, had Heidi Montag Pratt whom she said she met with her now husband Spencer Pratt for the first time at a club—as a guest on her podcast.

While the two conversed, Jana recalled what happened that fateful day. It so happened that the club where Jana met Heidi and Spencer was the same place she was set up on a blind date with “The Hills” star Brody Jenner.

“I was maybe, 24. I mean, a long, long time ago. We were at some club on Sunset. It was you and Spencer [Pratt], and someone set me and Brody up on a blind date,” recalled Jana.

Continuing, Jana said, “So we’re at this dinner, and it was like the worst. You were so sweet, but it was the worst blind date ever with me and Brody. Like the absolute worst. And the worst thing about it was that probably one of my most embarrassing moments was that night because we were not vibing at all.”

The “I Got the Boy” singer went on to share that she suddenly felt the need to leave the scene immediately because of what Brody said to her. The move eventually cost her as it turned out bad for her.

“He said something to me, and I was like, ‘That’s it, I’m leaving.’ But there were mirrors. There were mirrors on the walls,” explained Kramer. “Little do I know, the exit sign walks me right in. It was the reflection because it’s all a f—ing mirror. So I slam right into the mirror.”

Due to how embarrassed she felt, Jana didn’t stop to check if her little commotion was caught by people present. “I did not look back to see if someone saw me, but I’m pretty sure someone saw me walk into the mirror.”

The 39-year-old later married former NFL player Mike Caussin in 2015, their union produced two kids, a son, Jace, 4, and a daughter Jolie, but they got divorced in 2021.

Last month, Jana made her red carpet debut with her new boyfriend Allan Russell, 42, at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Speaking with PEOPLE on the show, Jana expressed her happiness at being in a relationship with the Scottish soccer coach.

“I’m happy. I’m in a great relationship. He’s a wonderful man, and I’ve got amazing, healthy kids. I’m blessed. I feel very blessed, I’m in a new chapter, and it feels really nice. For the first time, I’m really embracing it, and I’m trying to sink in that I deserve this new chapter.”

She further explained, “It’s interesting because it was right before I met my boyfriend Allan that I was like, ‘I’m OK no matter what.’ I wasn’t angry with my ex anymore, I got to a place where I did so much healing and work that I was like, ‘I know I’m never gonna be alone forever, and I’m OK. I’m happy,’ and then I met him.”
