Kevin Hart Says People’s Prayers For Jamie Foxx Is Working

Jamie Foxx has been in the hospital for almost a month now, and according to news from close friend Kevin Hart, he’s on his way to fully recovering. Hopefully, we’ll see the Oscar winner back at work soon. Keep sending in the prayers guys, it’s working.

In a since-deleted Instagram post shared by Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, fans got to learn that the actor had experienced a “medical complication” the day prior. The next update we would get was from Foxx himself, as the 55-year-old actor revealed that he’s “feeling blessed.”

This week, Kevin Hart went on Logan Paul and Mike Majlak’s “Impaulsive” podcast and updated fans about Foxx’s improvement.

“The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt,” Hart said. “In this case, you just want the guy to get out of the situation and get back home.”

As one can probably deduce from Corinne sharing and deleting the post about her father’s hospitalization, the Foxx family wants to keep this on a low-key, and in respect to their wishes, Hart couldn’t share any specifics. He also doesn’t know “the exact details,” but he does know that “there’s a lot of progression and a world of better.”

“I’ve heard things,” Hart said. “I’m very fortunate to have the relationship with Jamie, that I can check on things,” adding, “They’re being tight [with information] for reasons — just about where he is — because Jamie’s always been a private person.”

Hart then went on to reveal his admiration for Foxx, saying that the actor and comedian knows that he is “needed” and “necessary.”

“I know that he knows that,” Hart said, “And I know that he feels that because there’s been an outcry and outpour of support in his regard, and I can only hope that it continues.”

An inside source, however, revealed more details about Foxx’s condition, adding that the doctors are only keeping him at the hospital to run more tests and determine he’s completely fine, even though the hospital is the last place Foxx wants to be.
