General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Blames Michael For The Troubles She Perceives At ELQGeneral Hospital spoilers tease that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will blame Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for the troubles she perceives at ELQ in an upcoming episode of GH!

As with Tracy’s freaking out at the mansion having been decorated and remodeled into a much brighter and roomier place to live, she will freak out at the investments that Michael has chosen to make and support. Tracy is old school and Michael is new school, and it’s a generation gap situation of sorts. Tracy’s viewpoints and opinions of what will make money for the Quartermaines are diametrically opposed to Michael’s. Michael’s ideas are modern, fresh and new, and he is big on sustainable products, where Tracy has the opinion of “sustainable, sushmainable!” She doesn’t see that anyone would have an interest in such investments or products, short of a few new-age weirdos!

General Hospital Spoilers – The Quartermaines Are Not On The Brink Of Bankruptcy

It’s not like the Quartermaines are on the brink of bankruptcy, Michael has done quite well with the family company as CEO, otherwise known as Chief Financial Officer. General Hospital viewers will remember back seven or so years ago when they were so desperate for money they started trying to market “Pickle Lila” which was Lila Quartermaine’s (Anna Lee) homemade relish recipe, and Tracy started her own relish company, “Pickle Eddie” and they competed against one another with several people becoming ill from “Pickle Eddie”!

Of course, Tracy cried “corporate espionage!” This was after Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) had passed away and everything was split among all the heirs and Tracy didn’t get what she thought she should! Tracy didn’t always come up with brilliant schemes to make money for the family, especially when she was at odds with them! Tracy can truly say she was Edward’s favorite daughter though – being his ONLY daughter!

Tracy Quartermaine Feels Disaster Is Looming Because Of Michael Quartermaine’s Decisions

Tracy feels disaster is looming because of Michael’s decisions. For one thing, CEOs aren’t supposed to be Michael’s age. The old-school business model is that he needs to start as a stock clerk and climb the ladder the old fashioned way, and maybe become CEO in his fifties – Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) age. However, General Hospital viewers will recall it was Ned and Michael who fired Tracy as CEO when she was first involved with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) when he was still manifesting his alter, “Fluke” and Ned was afraid Luke was using Tracy to take over the company.

Later, Nikolas Cassadine (then Tyler Christopher, now Marcus Coloma) bought out most of their stock in a hostile takeover and fired Michael, although after he “died” the company went back to the Quartermaines. There was a little feud over control of the company between Ned and Michael later, but eventually gave in to Michael and Michael has been CEO ever since. Tracy is worrying way too much about Michael’s competence as CEO of ELQ and the ELQ finances!
