General Hospital spoilers reveal Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) has always been driven by a desire to help others. Getting to make a positive impact in someone’s life lends Kristina a sense of fulfillment she’s been missing since she left Dawn of Day. Being a bar manager allows her the flexibility she wants for her life, but she’s yearning for more. She needs a challenge — something that will push her to grow and make a real difference in the world.

When she sees her sister, Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos), struggling with infertility, she won’t hesitate to strike while the iron is hot. Kristina knows she can do this for her sister and enjoy it at the same time; so, why not? Well, it appears the rest of her family might have a laundry list of “why nots” for her.

Molly has struggled with her monthly cycle for years, but she never imagined it would mean she wouldn’t be able to get pregnant. Now, she’s faced with grieving the loss of an experience she’ll never have.

She might be feeling a bit silly about it. How can one miss something they never had? But that’s how she feels, and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will try his hardest to sympathize while knowing she feels guilty, as though it’s her fault he’s not going to have that experience with his other half.

The situation with Molly’s diagnosis is a heavy burden for her to bear, and the idea of having her little sister become her surrogate may seem like a solution, but Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will remind Krissy that it’s important to consider Molly’s feelings first.

While it’s admirable that Kristina is willing to go to such lengths for her sister, it’s reasonable that Molly needs time to process everything that’s happening before Kristina pounces on her with this idea. She may need to take a step back and give Molly the space she needs to come to terms with what’s happening first.

Kristina feels like this is the perfect solution, but that doesn’t mean Molly and T.J. will. She simply sees a chance to support Molly and T.J. while also fulfilling a personal desire to experience pregnancy.

Kristina doesn’t really want to be a mom, but she would love to know what it feels like to carry a baby and give birth. Gushing over those experiences in front of Molly isn’t wise right now though; it’s all too raw for her.

In T.J. and Molly’s case, the question arises whether Kristina is the right choice. Her history of addiction and mental health problems — coupled with her working in a bar — raise some concerns about her reliability and ability to carry a child to term.

That’s going to be hard for Krissy to hear, and even more painful when her mother — Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) — appears to back them up. But can’t you just see Kristina ending up pregnant with someone else’s baby as she prepares for IVF with Molly and T.J. — a la Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) style?
