Young And The Restless Spoilers: Christine Fires Chance, Cop Decides To Go Out On His Own

Y&R spoilers for the week of May 22nd imply that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) will not see eye-to-eye on something, and since they are both working closely on Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) “murder” case, it’s clear that they’ll be on opposite sides of the fence where the investigation is concerned.

Y&R spoilers suggest that Christine and Chance won’t land on the same page. As she doesn’t believe that Phyllis is really alive and thinks that this is merely a weak defense strategy for Michael Baldwin (Christina LeBlanc) to get Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) off her murder charges, it looks like the D.A. and lead investigator will clash. After all, Chance fluffed the idea off at first, but the more he looks at the case, the more he sees the possibility in it. Plus, there’s that DNA sample Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) recently found.

Added teasers indicate that Ms. Blair will give Chancellor his “marching orders”. Looks like the two will fight and Chance will either be placed off the case or completely fired from the force. What will Chance do next?

Y&R Spoilers – Things Don’t Add Up For Chance

Chance and Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) have gotten closer since her mother was “murdered”. Makes sense, he’s the cop on the investigation, and he’s been keeping Phyllis’s daughter in the loop about the case. Still, Chance recently drilled Summer, as everything about this case, including Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) story is not adding up. He not only questioned why Phyllis went to Daniel, versus Summer (as the mom and daughter are much closer), but also why the two siblings have been fighting so much. Summer tried to cover up, but she did a very weak job at it. Chance can sense she’s not telling the whole story.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will He Join #TeamRed?

Chance seems determined to get to the bottom of things, so he may go out on his own and try to find out the truth. Summer’s also asked for Chance’s help to either exonerate her mom of any wrongdoing or figure out a way to lessen a potential prison sentence should she return to Genoa City. It’s clear that Chancellor and Summer are getting closer, but will she and Phyllis end up using him in hopes that he can prove Red was coerced by Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and that his murder was self-defense?
