It looks like Ryan Seacrest knows that without him, the show just isn’t the same. In fact, there’s a new report that says the television personality is apparently rubbing Kelly Ripa’s troubles in her nose.

As many fans know by now, Kelly has had a hard time keeping her daytime television talk show afloat now that Ryan has been replaced by her husband, Mark Consuelos. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of The National Enquirer, Kelly Ripa probably doesn’t want to admit to it, but she knows that she needs Ryan to help save Live now that it’s pretty obvious that more people are tuning out from the show than in. And for Ryan, he has every reason to feel very smug about it.

One insider close to the situation says that Kelly is basically begging Ryan to come back in order to save the show and maybe even her career, too.

The tipster put it this way, “She’s practically on her knees trying to get him to bring the old band back together. Kelly used the invitation for Ryan’s return to throw rose petals at his feet and try to make him realize how much the public loves them as a duo. In other words, she had to eat crow.”

And while there’s no doubt that Kelly loves her husband Mark, she probably just doesn’t love him as a co-host. That, and the viewers of their show are not loving it, either. This is definitely taking a toll on the petite blonde as well. She hates the fact that the ratings keep on tanking.

Is Ryan Coming Back To The Show?

The insider added, “Kelly’s never been beat up like this before and has identified Mark as the X factor. She has said bringing Ryan back would be the quickest fix.”

Now, whether or not Ryan Seacrest would come back full-time to the show remains to be seen. So far he has not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
