General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Turns On Nina — For Avery’s Sake

General Hospital spoilers hint Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in a tight spot. She’s already struggling to keep her wits about her as Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) pushes forward with his own plans, which Ava is clued into on a need-to-know basis. She doesn’t have much room in her life for worrying about other people’s problems, much less all the drama Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has stirred up for herself with the SEC and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Ava warned Nina that if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ever found out what she had done, their relationship would be toast. While Nina is doing everything in her power to make sure that doesn’t happen, she’ll be completely blindsided when Ava ensures it does.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves’s Plan Is Botched

So far, things are running pretty smoothly for Nina. Her plan to get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to turn on Carly just might work. It was easy as pie convincing Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to do Nina’s bidding for her — all the while thinking it was what she wanted, too. Now, Nina has a bigger task to tackle: getting Drew to accept that Carly might turn on him in favor of Sonny. At first, a few people in Drew’s corner might get him thinking this is a possible concern.

Olivia might even have an opinion on the matter, as well as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Normally, Nina’s opinion wouldn’t hold weight — given that she is Carly’s arch-enemy, but when Drew’s anxiety is already at an all-time high over it, anything is possible. But she just might get a little too full of herself and excited to pull this plan off, and it could blow up in her face. Drew might be blindly in love with Carly, but he’s not otherwise blind.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Ava’s Paranoia Rivals Her Bestie’s

As Nina’s plan goes off the rails and she is at risk of being found out, Ava is going to start wondering if she might end up thrown overboard with her bestie. She’s got a child to think about and doesn’t want Sonny to think for a moment that she was helping Nina in her pursuit of self-serving justice. As Nina inches closer to disaster, Ava might end up on the brink and feeling like she has to pull the ripcord.

In a desperate attempt to save her own skin and keep Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) safe, Ava could fold and turn Nina in herself. While there’s a chance she might go straight to Sonny to let him know what his fianceé has been up to, parting would be much sweeter and more sorrowful if she really twisted the knife and took the information to Carly first.
