Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) wanted to protect her daughter from the returned lunatic, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). But she did not know that Ashby’s character has been monitoring the Cottage.

Fans are right to wonder what purpose Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) security team serves since it has been foiled on countless occasions. Once again, the Ranch was penetrated.

In this instance, Cameron followed his poisoning of the cat Faith brought home from college by kidnapping her.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Feels Like A Caged Animal

One defenseless animal was killed by Cameron. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) feels like a caged animal following the assault hoax that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was dragged into by apparent evidence.

On the surface, Nick’s bruised knuckles and Cameron’s rearranged face seemed to match. Viewers knew Nick fell for his trap by confronting him at his Genoa City Athletic Club suite.

Nick punched the wall but not Cameron. Ashby’s character used that scenario to file a fake report with the GC Police Department, and the only seeming detective in town took the call.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Bothered By Arrogant People

Chance was used by the Abbotts in recent months. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) played games with the detective, using him as part of their efforts to trap Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

Floyd’s character was also familiar with the shady scenario presented to him regarding Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. Nick was responsible for that, though he was defending Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) helped cover what happened at Victoria’s home. His security team came through in that instance, and that helped Nick avoid any legal repercussions.

With the above fresh in his mind, Chance is not giving Nick any benefit of the doubt. More importantly, Chance is required to follow the law and is doing so.

Unless history changes, Sharon and Nick’s battle with Cameron will not result in them reuniting. That makes the many interactions between Chance and Sharon intriguing. They project as a plausible couple, with what would be a believable build-up to that happening since Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) died on Y&R.
