The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) fans realized that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) never forgave his father Jack Finnegan (Ted King). However, Finn’s willing to forgive his mom Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) even though she shot him and nearly ended his life. Some are wondering why he hasn’t made up with his father. Keep on reading to learn more.
The Bold And Beautiful Spoilers – Why Hasn’t John Finn Finnegan Forgiven Jack Finnegan?
Finn claims that he’s willing to forgive Sheila for what she’s done. He told his wife Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to cut her some slack, which didn’t bode well for their marriage.
Yet, Finn hasn’t forgiven his own father. The user ALF-M3 brought this up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Finn hasn’t made up with Jack, but [feels grateful] to Sheila?”
It’s a recent development that’s baffling to fans. B&B fans took to the thread to share their thoughts.
The writers decided that Finn will forgive Sheila. He also expressed gratitude to her for saving Kelly’s life. But, there was never a scene when Finn forgave his father Jack, who is in fact his biological father.
“I think at some point he should have forgiven his father, his wrongful father of course, cheated on his wife, with Sheila, then didn’t tell her that was his biological father, and knew who his biological mother was, although for last point I understand Jack,” one fan noted.
“Yes, the lack of anything Finn/Jack is just another fine point that tptb have missed in favor of shoehorning Sheila into every. single. thing,” another user noted.
B&B Spoilers – John Finn Finnegan Missing Piece Of His Life
The Bold and the Beautiful fans want to know what happened to Finn since he was always so logical. The reason why Finn hugged Sheila is that he wanted to know what it felt like to hug his biological mother. He told her that it feels like a part of his life is missing.
However, that wasn’t always the case when he already had his biological father in his life. Finn could’ve just maintained a relationship with his dad if he wanted to experience those feelings.
“The whole Jack situation confuses me the most. Like he kicked Jack out of his life, have no tolerance for him but Sheila is okay??” one fan noted.
“It’s funny that he has a problem with Jack unless he believes Jack took advantage of Sheila to take him away from her. It’s really bad storytelling,” another suggested.
Arguably, there’s plenty of reason for Finn to realize that Sheila shouldn’t be in his life. It has some B&B fans wondering if he has mommy issues.
His character is regressing for no reason whatsoever. Some fans fear that his relationship with Steffy will be ruined because of this.
