RHONJ Star Teresa Giudice Shares ‘Surreal’ Wedding Memory

Real Housewives Of New Jersey (RHONJ) star Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas just celebrated their first year of marriage. And Teresa reflected on her over-the-top ceremony. But the reality TV star shared that one memory from her wedding ranks as her favorite.

As Teresa Giudice looks back on her wedding to Luis Ruelas, the Real Housewives Of New Jersey (RHONJ) star cherishes many special memories. The ceremony took place on August 6, 2022, in front of 220 guests. And while the RHONJ star and her hubby just enjoyed celebrating their wedding anniversary, Teresa also likes recalling the highlights of her special day, noted People.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star, 51, and her husband, 48, chose the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, for their ceremony. And Teresa flaunted a customized blush mermaid gown with over 300 yards of hand-draped English netting.  But the lengthy train, complete with pearls and crystals, and beaded evening gloves also earned attention.

And Teresa opted for a veil with three hearts as well as a diamond crown. Her sky-high hairstyle featured $7,000 worth of extensions and 1,500 bobby pins. But beyond the extravaganza, Giudice included some sentimental moments as well. For instance, the RHONJ star chose the song Ave Maria to honor her late parents for her walk down the aisle.

RHONJ Spoilers – Teresa Shares Favorite Wedding Memory

And when Teresa reflected on all her memories, she described her favorite. “My favorite memory is when the doors opened and I began my walk down the aisle to ‘Ave Maria. It was so magical and so surreal,” gushed Giudice.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star’s daughters participated in lighting the ceremony’s unity candle. And Gia, 22, Gabriella, 19, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 13, all showed up for their mom. Wedding guests included RHONJ stars Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider.

But Teresa invited other reality TV stars as well, such as Real Housewives of New York City alums Dorinda Medley and Jill Zarin. However, her brother, Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, felt outraged, shared an insider. And the source added, “Teresa betrayed them in a way that’s unforgivable.” As a result, the couple refused “to celebrate Teresa’s new marriage when all she does is try to tear apart theirs.”

Other wedding highlights included a dinner with steaks, Shake Shack, pizza, and a candy truck. And Giudice gushed about “seeing the people that I love, my friends and family, many of whom were crying.” As she neared the altar, Teresa noticed “the smiles and tears on my girls faces and the smiles on Louie’s sons. And then standing there face to face with the love of my life, the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with, this is my favorite memory from my wedding,” summed up the reality TV star.
