Drunk Driver Crashes Into Tamera Mowry-Housley & Adam Housley’s Napa Wine Bar

When not filming for Hallmark Channel, Tamera Mowry-Housley happily lives in the Napa Valley in California. However, she and her husband, Adam Housley are grateful no one was hurt after a drunk driver crashed into their wine bar. The vehicle demolished the wine bar’s deck and seating area in the middle of the night.

Drunk driver hits Hallmark star Tamera Mowry-Housley’s family business

It happened in the middle of the night when a hit-and-run driver crashed into Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adam Housley’s family-owned wine bar in Napa. In the process, the driver crashed into the wine bar’s deck and patron seating area but luckily stopped short of hitting the building.

Adam took to Instagram on September 10, 2023, to let followers know, sharing two images of the damage caused by the crash. He captioned the image, writing:

Drinking and driving don’t mix. Thankfully this hit and run driver was caught and we will rebuild. The parklet saved the building, his tire tracks show he was going straight for our front door in the middle of the night.

Adam went on to thank the Napa Police Department for their quick response, writing, “and to @napasheriff Oscar Ortiz who came and helped along with @grubbingwithhousleys @barnhousenapa @ericbarnes2.0 and Wes and everyone else who came and helped.”

Housley closed his caption, writing, “We will rebuild immediately. #housleynapavalley #downtownnapa #dontdrinkanddrive #napa”

Tamera Mowry-Housley ‘praying for the drunk driver’

The Instagram post includes an image of Tamera and Adam’s children, son Aden, 10, and daughter Ariah, 8, looking at the damage. Housley added that the destroyed parklet probably protected the actual building from being destroyed by the driver.

Adam added that if this had happened during the daytime, he believes there would have been far more wreckage to cars parked outside. He said that judging from the car’s tire tracks, he was heading straight for their front door.

Meanwhile, Tamera commented, writing, “What the devil meant for evil. God will turn it around for his Glory. I’m even praying for the drunk driver as we speak. That he gets delivered and set free from alcohol. The way your friends and the community showed up was amazing.”

Multiple arrests in the incident

Heavy quotes from police reports on the incident that multiple people were arrested and booked by Napa County Police for driving under the influence. However, so far, it is unclear which person was responsible for the damage to the Housleys’ property.
