The Voice Spoilers – Coaches Bid Farewell To Blake Shelton
Season 24 of The Voice will begin on September 25 at 8 p.m. ET. And a new promo via MSN reveals coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan and John Legend teasing their ability to compete against each other.
But does Reba really possess the power to win as a first-time coach? The promo offers a clue when Horan, 29, boasts about winning last season. And he happily starts slicing a cake that reads “Welcome The Voice coaches.”
But Niall needs to share as Stefani, 53, and Legend, 44, stroll into the room. However, the trio exchange friendly banter. And Legend comments, “Congratulations on winning your first season my friend.” But Horan teases in response, “It’s good to be king.”
However, Stefani warns, “Don’t get used to it buddy. It’s a whole new ball game.” And the group takes time to consider the impact of Blake Shelton’s exit after 23 seasons. But just as the coaches think they can get “a shot at the best country singers” without Shelton, Reba gets her cue.

The Voice Spoilers – Reba McEntire Sparkles In Promo
And as a “Reba” chant plays and a “Team Reba” sign appears, 68-year-old McEntire makes her entrance in a black robe that transforms into a sparkly ensemble. A grinning Reba greets the other coaches as they look shocked
And then the host of The Voice, Carson Daly, promises, “Wow, this is gonna be good.” But the promo finishes with Horan deciding to take some style notes from Reba. And he tells someone on the phone, “I’m gonna need some tearaway pants. Make them sparkly.”
But in a separate interview, Reba shared her enthusiasm in taking over the show’s “country lane. I’m taking over for Blake so I’m gonna represent country music. [He’s got] big boots. I don’t know what size those boots are,” joked the country music songstress.
The Voice Spoilers – Gwen Stefani Returns For 7th Season
“But they’re big,” added McEntire. “So I’m gonna really work hard to make [Blake] proud.” And Reba realizes she needs to compete with Shelton’s wife Stefani. Gwen will return as a coach for her seventh season.
“I do understand that I need to go razzle-dazzle with Gwen being on there,” admitted McEntire. And she pointed out that Stefani wears “the nicest outfits, so I really need to step up my game on that.” But Reba also praised the other coaches on The Voice.
“John and Niall [are] all really funny and clever,” gushed McEntire. And she has noticed that they always share “so many smart things. So I’ve got my work cut out for me,” added the country singer. “I’m most excited about basically getting started.”
But Reba feels confident that she will receive “lots of help, advice, people coming around saying, ‘You can do this.’ And I’m not afraid at all. I think it’ll be a very fun adventure.”
