The show was groundbreaking since the women playing these characters were between the ages of 50 and 60, which was unheard of at the time. It was unusual to hear elderly women talk about their dating life. It was a risk worth taking.

The show turned out to be a hit and is still a cult classic after all these years. The Golden Girls continues to attract a new generation of fans because it’s timeless and fresh at the same time.

The Golden Bachelor ladies want their own Golden Girls reboot. Fans got a glimpse of the ladies having an ice cream moment when they played, “Never Would I Ever.”
