The Prince and Princess of Wales may have won the title of the best dressed couple, but some people seem to think it’s undeserved.
According to one of Queen Camilla’s friends, Nicky Haslam, William and Kate are as far away from sophistication as they can get. And what’s up with all the shades of blue?
Camilla’s Friend Brands Wills And Kate A “Dull” And “Childish” Couple
I never thought I’d see the day when the Princess of Wales will be associated with the word “dull.” I mean this Princess once paired a white gown with long black gloves.
The last thing she absolutely can be is “dull,” unless “dull” now means not stepping out in some needless extravagant costume.
Haslam, 84, sees things differently and actually believes the couple had more fizz in their fashion in their younger years than now. By the way, I’m sure Tom Cruise and that off-shoulder hourglass Bardot gown will like to disagree.
Haslam was born to a goddaughter of Queen Victoria and even socialized with Princess Diana during her lifetime.
In a recent interview, the interior designer bashed the Prince and Princess of Wales’ fashion sense, calling it “odd.”
He said: “You see endless pictures of the whole family in various shades of blue. It’s common. It’s so odd to see an entire family dressed in blue. Wouldn’t little Princess Charlotte like to wear white?”
He added: “It’s supposed to suggest a calm upper-classness, which is so dull. If you look at pictures from the old days, the royals had wonderful exotic clothes. But now they look like dummies in Peter Jones’s window.”

Apart from their fashion, Haslam also criticized their lifestyle, saying “they do childish things, like play football and games.”
“They couldn’t be less sophisticated. They don’t go to literary lunches and read extraordinary books or go to the theatre.”
In contrast to the Waleses, he praised the late Queen Elizabeth as a “sophisticated, well-read, very funny and very quick” woman.

I am so sick of Camilla, if anyone needs how to dress is herself. Catherine is always well dressed and people love her. Maybe Camilla needs someone to give herself a major makeover because she needs it more than Catherine does!!!!
