The Golden Bachelor spoilers teased the idea of a Golden Bachelor in Paradise. Gerry Turner admitted that he’s not into the idea.

The 72-year-old went on the ABC dating competition to find love again. He admitted that he’s shunned the idea of golden singles mingling on the beach.

“I just don’t know if that’s something I would support,” Gerry Turner told Entertainment Weekly. “But I do know there’s an awful lot of individuals from The Golden Bachelor that would be fantastic on a beach. They would have the time of their lives!”

Gerry isn’t going to take that fun away from the other singles. He told People after filming Thursday’s “Women Tell All” special that he is “wholeheartedly in favor” of the Golden Bachelorette.

Gerry didn’t share who he could see being the first-ever Golden Bachelorette. However, he loves the idea.

“I have no say in it, just to be clear, but I think it would be exciting because it’s going to continue the theme that we’ve started of being hopeful and being visible at our age,” Gerry explained. “So, hopefully, it happens.”

The Golden Bachelor spoilers teased Gerry’s ideas for The Golden Bachelorette. He admitted that he wouldn’t pick favorites among his pick of suitors. However, he feels that any of the 22 ladies would be the perfect choice.

“There’s 22 women that stand out. I absolutely would not be able to single one out,” Gerry said. “Each one of them has a certain personality that would make a show interesting and charming, and they’re all intelligent, so there’s no bad choice.”

The Golden Bachelor spoilers tease that Faith Martin is gunning for the position. She told People that she has a strong feeling about her journey. Faith was eliminated during Thursday’s episode.

Despite being dumped, Faith trusts the producers. She hopes they will continue this spinoff and give other goldens the opportunity to find love.

“So, I think they should continue to do it with this age group, because I think that gives people hope,” Faith said. “I think it’s really fun to watch, and I would definitely be into doing something like that.”
