Hallmark Reveals January Movies For A Loving And Warm 2024

Currently, fans of Hallmark Channel’s movies are enjoying the popular Countdown to Christmas programming event. However, the feel-good channel is already looking forward to the New Year and has released details of its movies for January 2024.

Hallmark reveals January 2024 movie schedule

According to TV Line, four new, original movies are scheduled for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in January 2024.

But that’s not all, as the hugely popular time travel drama, The Way Home, is set to return with its second season on Sunday, January 21, at 9:00 pm ET on the feel-good network. In the meantime, let’s take a brief look at the movies that are in store for a Happy New Year.

Love on the Right Course

Premiere Date: Saturday, January 6 at 8 pm ET

Cast: Ashley Newbrough and Marcus Rosner

Plot:

The first of the January movies tells the story of Whitney (Ashley Newbrough), a professional golfer, struggling to make the cut to qualify for her next tournament in Europe. Meanwhile, she worried that she might not be able to continue competing on a professional level. She decides to return to Budapest, Hungary, and the golf course her family owns there.

While trying to reevaluate her career, Whitney finds that her father has become a recluse following the death of his wife two years ago. He has handed over the day-to-day operations of the golf club to a laid-back, new golf pro, Daniel (Marcus Rosner). As Whitney and Daniel get to know each other, their perspective changes and a romance develops. However, when her former trainer returns and pushes Daniel out, this might just cost Whitney her best shot at love.

A Scottish Love Scheme

Premiere Date: Saturday, January 13 at 8 pm ET

Cast: Erica Durance and Jordan Young

Plot:

The movie tells the story of Lily (Erica Durance) who travels to Scotland with her mother. While there, she reconnects with Logan (Jordan Young), a childhood family friend. However, unbeknownst to Lily and Logan, their meddling mothers have devised a plan to set them up for romance.

Betty’s Bad Luck in Love

Plot:

Betty (Laci J. Mailey) has been cursed since childhood to fail at romance and her relationships always end in disaster. However, when she meets the handsome Alex (Marco Grazzini), she is tempted to try again. Can true love prevail over her curse?

Swinging Into Love

Premiere Date: Saturday, January 27 at 8 pm ET

Cast: Jocelyn Hudon and Olivier Renaud

Plot:

Swinging into Love tells the story of Luna (Jocelyn Hudon), a former dancer who left her dream behind. She starts a more grounded life, managing her family’s construction business and gets the opportunity to transform a gymnasium into a studio for aerial performers. As she sneaks a moment to try dancing in the silks, Luna is surreptitiously discovered by Bennet (Olivier Renaud), a professional aerialist.

After returning home from performing around the world, Bennet is unhappy to walk in to find his contractor messing around on the silks. However, when his partner for an upcoming show drops out, he is quick to recruit Luna to perform with him.

As the hard work of this dynamic sport continues with the joys of Luna returning to her roots as a dancer, will this bring them closer together? Alternatively, will their relationship crash, or will they find a way to reach new heights?
