Lyndie Greenwood & Paul Campbell Face Social Media Backlash In Hallmark, Magic In Mistletoe

Hallmark Channel has revealed details of the upcoming Christmas movie, Magic in Mistletoe. This topical movie tells the story of a social media blunder by a beloved author of holiday books.

Unless he and his PR pro can pull off a Christmas miracle, people will believe the author is Scrooge himself. This is not the outcome either of them wanted at this festive time of year. Read on to find out more about the movie and its cast and view beautiful images taken on the film set.

Magic in Mistletoe is coming to Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, Harrington Davis (Paul Campbell) is the author of the popular Magic in Mistletoe book series.

However, his commercial success has led him to become a recluse who has lost his love of the holiday. When he makes a social media post, claiming Christmas is a scam, his fans quickly turn against him.

This leaves April (Lyndie Greenwood), the publicist for his publishing house, to change her holiday plans. She is tasked with helping to restore Harrington’s reputation and save the launch of his latest – and final book in the Magic in Mistletoe book series from being a total flop.

April drops by to convince Harrington to set things right by returning to his hometown of Mistletoe, which had inspired him to write the first book when he was just a teen.

She persuades him to participate in the town’s annual festival the town throws to honor the popular book series.

The author begrudgingly makes the trip and it is soon clear that April has her work cut out for her. However, as they spend time together at the town’s events, and she meets his longtime friends, a different side of Harrington emerges and she learns the hurt behind his bitter feelings.

She also finds out what had inspired him to create Magic in Mistletoe. As the initial frost between them starts to thaw, there might just be a path leading to a merry Christmas for all.

In the movie’s lead, Campbell, who plays Harrington, is known for his roles in Three Wise Men and a Baby and Battlestar Galactica, while Greenwood, who plays April, has previously been seen in Holiday Heritage and Nikita.

According to the IMDb page for the movie, Jacqueline Samuda plays Lydia and has previously starred in Stargate-SG1.

Meanwhile, Mila Jones, who plays Bree is known for her role in Supergirl and Kat Ruston, who plays Susan McMillan has starred in Altered Carbon.

Debbie Podowski, who plays Mallory, has been seen in When Calls the Heart, while Robyn Bradley of The Man in the High Castle fame plays Lisa Moore.
