Kody Brown keeps proving his ex-wives Christine Brown and Janelle Brown right when they said he favored his last and only remaining wife Robyn more than his other wives.
When Christine divorced Kody, one of the reasons she cited was the favoritism Kody showed towards Robyn, and how her relationship with him gradually became almost inexistent. The same thing happened with Janelle, Robyn took over their husband’s heart.
Last month, during the “Sister Wives: One on One” episode which aired on November 26, the patriarch of the Brown family sat with host Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan and confessed to never being in love with any of his first three wives before meeting Robyn. He said, “I’m guilty — actually, yes I am — of not loving them. I was guilty of not being in love with them. It was guilt from the beginning. I married on a premise that was very different than romantic love.” In a recent interview with People on Friday, Robyn shared that prior to tying the knot with Kody.
Sister Wives Spoilers – On Kody Brown And Robyn Brown’s Agreement
In the article published December 15, Robyn told the outlet that they both made an agreement with each other that if any one of them were to fall out of love, the person should leave the marriage.
The TLC star said their agreement was, “that if we decide we don’t want to be married anymore, we’re not going to hold each other up.” Not so surprisingly, Robyn revealed that since their marriage, “I never thought that I wanted to leave the marriage. No. I just know how much I love Kody, and I know he is a good guy and he’s doing his best.”
Referencing what Kody supposedly went through during and after his divorce from Christine, Janelle, and Meri, she continued, “I can’t imagine any other man being able to go through what he’s going through and still be doing OK, to be going through this much turmoil and stress and heartache and then have it all be on a television show.”
She added, “Considering that he’s still in one piece, I feel like that’s a pretty big deal, because I can’t imagine … It’s just a lot. And even, it’s a lot for me, and it’s a different situation for him.”
Sister Wives — Kody Brown Didn’t Have The Same Agreement With Ex-Wives
In last Sunday’s “One On One Special,” Kody confirmed Robyn’s claims with Suki, saying, “Robyn and I made an agreement that if we weren’t in love, that we wouldn’t drag each other out,” he told host Sukanya Krishnan. “That we would free each other.”
When Suki enquired if he had the same agreement with his ex-wives, Kody said, “No, no. I remember after Robyn and I had that agreement, then I went to the other wives and said I have this agreement with Robyn. They even got frustrated by, like anybody who wants to leave, you’re free to go. And that even made Meri mad.”
Meri on the other hand revealed that she noticed that Kody had fallen “out of love” with her after hearing the agreement he had with Robyn. According to, Meri, “I only base that off of that scene where he said to her, ‘If I ever fall out of love with you, don’t string me along,’ or whatever his words were.”
“He’s sitting here telling Robyn, ‘That’s the agreement that you and I made, that if I ever felt like that, then I wouldn’t hold you in this place.’ Their agreement of, you know, their sacred covenant,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Then why did you not respect me enough as a human being?'”
