Vanderpump Rules: Raquel Leviss Reveals REAL Reason For Quitting!

Vanderpump Rules spoilers reveal that Raquel Leviss will not appear in upcoming episodes. And rumors soared that Raquel’s exit resulted from her cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval.

Raquel Leviss disappointed Vanderpump Rules fans when spoilers via Reality Tea revealed her exit prior to season 11. But viewers also felt that they understood Raquel’s reason. Because season 10 revealed Tom Sandoval cheating on his girlfriend Ariana Madix with Raquel, Leviss faced slams from Vanderpump Rules cast members as well as viewers.

And many viewers felt particularly angry because Raquel had acted like Ariana’s best friend amid her months-long secret dalliance with Sandoval. However, now Raquel has denied that the cheating scandal known as “Scandoval” caused her to quit Vanderpump Rules.

And in her new podcast, Leviss shared that her experiences in season nine actually sparked her decision to skip season 11. As she looked back, Raquel revealed that she wished she had not returned for season 10. “Looking back at that season, I was at my lowest of lows filming Vanderpump Rules,” admitted Leviss.

And Raquel recalled how she ended her engagement to James Kennedy. After that romance ended, Leviss feels that she needed a break from Vanderpump Rules. “After breaking off an engagement with James [Kennedy], that was my first mistake,” she noted. “Because I should’ve taken the time to heal and find a therapist.”

But rather than leave the show, Raquel immersed herself in filming Vanderpump Rules with both James and his new girlfriend Ally Lewber. Kennedy and Lewber started dating in January 2022, just six weeks after James and Raquel ended their engagement, per People.

And Ally recalled meeting James during a concert for Tom Sandoval’s band, The Most Extras. However, she admitted that she knew about Kennedy’s sometimes unattractive actions in the past. But meeting him felt different. And Ally explained, “I gave him a chance to really show me who he is.”

However, Raquel felt uncomfortable filming with her ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend so soon after ending their engagement. But Leviss then began her secret months-long affair with Tom Sandoval while pretending to be Ariana’s best friend.

And Raquel revealed that she realized she betrayed Madix by becoming involved with Sandoval. Ariana and Tom had remained together for nine years before his affair.

And Leviss shared that she felt filming season 11 would cause Ariana “pain. Because being involved with somebody’s boyfriend while they’re still in a relationship is a huge betrayal, and so painful as it is. But then to continue working with these people?” she questioned. 

And Raquel also dropped a bombshell by openly admitting that she loved Sandoval “so much.” As a result, she felt that filming season 11 of Vanderpump Rules could prove “so catastrophic” both for herself and Madix. And she added, “I didn’t want to do that to Ariana. I didn’t wanna put her in that position.”
