Mallory Jansen & Will Kemp In Paging Mr. Darcy On Hallmark Channel

Hallmark Channel has released more details of its upcoming movie, Paging Mr. Darcy. Starring Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp, the movie explores how a love of Jane Austen’s stories can help two people overcome their pride.

Paging Mr. Darcy on Hallmark Channel

According to the official synopsis, Paging Mr. Darcy tells the story of two people, drawn together due to their love of Jane Austen’s work. However, their meeting leads them to overcome their pride and admit to their belief in love.

Professor Eloise Cavendish (Jansen) is asked to give the keynote speech at a Jane Austen conference. However, the annual event that combines scholarship with fandom makes her feel dubious.

After all, Eloise is writing about how money – not love – is the most important thing in Austen’s work. Will a group of people who like dressing up in empire-waist gowns and pretending to go to balls want to hear what she has to say?

Meanwhile, when she meets Sam (Kemp), who puts on the breeches and frock coat of the event’s official Mr. Darcy each year, she is disgusted.

She immediately judges him as a cad who uses the annual event to meet women. Moreover, Eloise and Sam must overcome their prejudices and pride, and admit they are both drawn to Austen’s work for the same reason – an absolute belief in love.

Mallory Jansen, who plays the role of Eloise Cavendish, is known for her roles in Francesca Quinn, PI and The Big Leap. She leads opposite Will Kemp as Sam, who has previously starred in A Not So Royal Christmas and A Merry Scottish Christmas.
