Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Keeping Archie At Home Over Coronavirus Fears

British Royal News suggests there’s a very good reason why royal fans won’t be seeing little Master Archie Harrison in public anytime soon. That’s because his parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to keep the young tot at home and under the care of a trusted family friend due to the coronavirus outbreak. Here’s what you need to know.

So far, the novel coronavirus has infected over 118,000 people worldwide. It has so far spread to over 107 countries and has resulted in over 4,000 deaths. Many states including the District of Columbia have reported confirmed cases, with about 1,100 illnesses and the number of deaths growing each day. Cities such as New York City have declared a state of emergency as schools are closing their doors, sporting events are being postponed and the general population heading to their local grocery stores in droves to stock up on cleaning products, toilet paper, and food.

That is perhaps one of the reasons why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted not to bring their son Archie to London with them this past week for their last round of royal engagements and public appearances. As a matter of fact, some reports have even suggested that Queen Elizabeth was saddened not to see her great-grandson, who was most likely left behind in Canada.

Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about their decision not to bring Archie to London. However, it’s been noted in the past that the couple wants their son and their future children to live a life outside of the spotlight.

In other words, they want to give Archie as much privacy as possible in order to ensure that he will have a normal childhood. Archie was only last seen in public several months ago when Meghan Markle took him out for a stroll with her family dogs at a park in Vancouver.
