Y&R Alum Jordi Vilasuso To Bring His Talent To Another Soap, What We Know So Far!

The Bay spoilers and updates reveal breaking news about soap opera veteran Jordi Vilasuso. He has been pegged to play a character named Justin Ramos, last played by David Lago also formerly of The Young And The Restless in The Bay’s Season Five.

For those unfamiliar with The Bay, it’s a streaming soap opera that’s been going since 2010-produced by Gregori J. Martin and Wendy Riche of former General Hospital fame.

Many of your soap opera faves have been involved in this broadcast, including GH’s Tristan Rogers, Réal Andrews, the late Jackie Zeman, and Alicia Leigh Willis. DOOL’s Mike C.

Manning, A. Martinez, Mary Beth Evans-who stars as Sara-Matthew Ashford, Brandon Beemer and many others have appeared as well over the years.

Most of the first seasons can be found on Peacock, Tubi, the Roku Channel, Amazon Prime and Popstar to name a few. The upcoming season should be announced soon since Jordi apparently has begun filming.

The Bay Spoilers – Jordi Vilasuso Talks About Joining The Bay

Jordi’s quoted as saying “I’ve been familiar with The Bay for quite some time now and have crossed paths with Gregori J. Martin multiple times in my career. So, when he approached me about taking on the role of Justin Ramos, I was over the moon.

The opportunity to collaborate with A Martinez once more and the rest of the amazing cast is truly thrilling,” Vilasuso shared with Soap Hub. “I’ve known Jordi for some time and have always admired his talent. I’m thankful to have him on board as Justin,”

Gregori expressed. Jordi Vilasuso, a versatile actor played Griffin in All My Children, Dario in Days of Our Lives, Tony in Guiding Light and most recently played Rey Rosales on The Young and The Restless.

The Bay Spoilers – Past Accomplishments

Vilasuso clinched a Daytime Emmy back in 2003 for his portrayal of Tony on GL. He also received Emmy nods in 2002 for his role on GL and in 2022 for his performance on Y&R. He was a nominee for Favorite Y&R Actor at the Soap Hub Awards in both 2020 and 2021.

The Bay has been nominated for five Daytime Emmys this year, with a chance to win Outstanding Drama Series at the upcoming ceremony on Friday, June 7, 2024.

After Y & R, a couple of months ago in March 2024 Vilasuso teamed up with GH’s Adam Huss and Vincent Irizarry in the digital drama series “The BLVD.”
