For those who say that he doesn’t pay attention to his son, well, we’ve got news for you. There’s a new report that says Donald Trump was beaming with pride when he praised his son Barron Trump for graduating high school with high honors. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Donald Trump – Praises Barron Trump For His High Honors
Donald Trump certainly has a lot of pride for his youngest child. According to the Palm Beach Post, the former president was front and center with young Barron graduated from the Oxbridge Academy near West Palm Beach just last week.
Trump said that Barron was a college prep stand and “got good marks and he’s a good boy and it was a big day.”
He also said, “I had my very tall son today graduate from high school, all 6’9. He was easy to spot. You look up and you have this one kid, 6’9.”
Donald Trump – Also Calls Out His Haters
But Donald Trump wouldn’t be Donald Trump if he didn’t also talk about his haters in the same sentence that he talked about his son’s milestone moment.
He almost didn’t attend Barron’s high school graduation because the judge in his hush money trial almost barred him from traveling from New York to Florida for the big day.
He continued, “For a while, the judge said you can’t go to your son’s graduation. There was a lot of people not happy about that.
It was beautiful to watch, but when you think about what we’re doing, and what I’m doing, I’m being indicted for you. And never forget our enemies want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom.”
Luckily, the judge did change her mind and Donald was able to celebrate Barron’s academic achievement with his wife, Melania Trump. So far Donald has not made any further comments about the matter.

In the USA “graduating with high honors” indicates the student achieved grades high enough to qualify for membership in at least of of several Honors Societies. Taking an advanced class (aka an honors class) is not sufficient. A student must have a sufficiently high grade point average and must submit an application to an honors society. There is no proof that Barron was a member of any honors society. The graduation program (aka booklet) indicates which students have achieved honors. At his graduation, Barron wore a plain red ribbon draped around his shoulders. That color and design is not used by any of the prominent honor societies. Much about this young man’s education has been hidden. Anyone with experience would know there must be a reason(s) for that.
