Recently Melania Trump was every inch the proud mama bear at her son Barron’s high school graduation ceremony. Last week the 18-year old graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, with his father Donald Trump, Melania, and Melania’s father Viktor Knavs, in attendance.

It was a special day for the family, as it is for every American family that watches a loved one reach such a significant milestone. But there was extra spice in the reporting and it had to do with former supermodel and current mom of one, Slovenian-American model Melania. This is what all the fuss was about.

Social media had a field day with the way Melania dressed for the occasion. Specifically, pundits had a lot to say about her lovely hat. Melania sat next to Barron’s dad, Donald Trump, and his maternal grandfather, Viktor Knavs.

People flocked to X to give their opinion on Melania’s lid. Some joked that the hat, a lamé boater hat from Gucci ,was a way for Melania to hide from Donald: “Melania thinks she can hide under that hat….”

Barron Trump – Graduated High School This Month

Another poster wrote: “I like that she’s so ashamed to be next to him that she’s dressed like she’s two kids in a trenchcoat trying to sneak into an adult movie.”

A third person chimed in “She put on that big hat by choice. So no one would see the disgust in her eyes as she looked to the left by accident.”

Truth be told, Melania looked fabulous in a white Michael Kors Collection double crepe pencil skirt, over which she wore a navy Dior 30 Montaigne double breasted wool and silk jacket.

No matter the chatter that was going on around her, Melania’s face beamed beneath her controversial hat. Accentuating her glam look was a pair of white suede Manolo Blahnik heels.

Donald Trump matched his wife in a navy suit, and couldn’t contain his enthusiasm, writing on Truth Social: “Going to Barron’s High School Graduation. Great student, wonderful boy! Very exciting!!!” See, celebs, they’re just like us.
