The first major hint of the family rift came in the form of Amber Johnston sharing a post about how 2024 has been a great year for the family. Further highlighting why, she mentioned how Alex and Emma Johnston would be graduating high school.

Couple this with the fact that several Johnston family members unfollowed Anna on Instagram and you might better understand why fans think there’s a deep rift in the family. Plus, we saw how Emma called out her followers for mentioning a “certain person” in the comments.

However, rumors that Anna may have been removed from the show did not surface until she did a live video with a mystery guy she claims is not her boyfriend.

During the live, the guy mentioned something in the lines of Anna being banned from the show, which Anna fiercely responded with “shut up.”

This led fans to speculate that it must be Amber’s doing if indeed she was banned from the show.
