He thinks it’s an effort, but some people think it’s the bare minimum. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William is being criticized just because he wants to be praised for the fact that he took the train rather than a helicopter during his most recent trip to Cardiff. A lot of people noticed that Prince William’s team made the effort to show everyone that he took the train to Cardiff by sharing a photo on his official Instagram account.

In the picture, the future king of England can be seen looking out the window with a phone in his hands and his binder on a table in front of him.

A lot of royal fans and critics out there think that this is the Prince of Wales’ way of showing the world that he wants to be a more eco-friendly kind of royal.

But some people don’t seem to be very impressed. Many critics have taken to social media to comment on the matter with, “Photo looks touched up. He must have practiced the statesman expression in the mirror. So pathetic.”

Another critic wrote, “I think the binder is full of empty papers, just like the bloated orange man’s from that interview. OOOh look look how important I am, I have a binder and everything!”

And then there was this comment as well, “I’m sure he DID practice in a mirror and it is still off. He should have done an action shot of reviewing and taking notes of what was in the binder, or on the phone on an important business call while looking in the binder.”

So far Prince William himself has not made any comments about the criticism that he’s received although at this point it’s doubtful that he will.
