Justin Timberlake Arrested: Selfish Singer Reportedly Charged With DWI In The Hamptons

Justin Timberlake has allegedly been arrested for drinking while driving, multiple news outlets report. On Monday, June 17, 2024, Timberlake was reportedly leaving Sag Harbor, New York.

Justin Timberlake Arrested

According to Good Morning America as well as Newsday, 43-year-old Timberlake was arrested on a possible DWI charge. Details are still rather unclear.

However, a source told People magazine that Justin was pulled over by police after learning the America Hotel in Sag Harbor. Timberlake reportedly had dinner at the hotel, then left to drive to a friend’s house. When Justin was pulled over and arrested. The source added that nobody was hurt.

It’s not clear if Justin was speeding, swerving, or if someone reported him leaving the hotel after drinking. The details are incredibly murky but concerning at the same time. Thankfully, nobody had any injuries.

Sag Harbor Police Department Speak Out

A representative for the Sag Harbor Police Department told People magazine that the Selfish signer is still in police custody as of the morning of Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Justin and his representatives have not issued a statement yet. According to reports, Timberlake is supposed to appear in court sometime today (Tuesday).

Forget Tomorrow World Tour

Justin Timberlake’s arrest coincides with the singer’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour. It kicked off in April and ended the singer’s five-year break.

The tour is going through more than 50 cities and kicked off in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Monday, April 29. It was a two-hour show featuring songs from the album, “Everything I Thought It Was.”

The tour has taken Timberlake to Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, Las Vegas, and San Antonio. On Friday and Saturday, Timberlake is supposed to perform in Chicago.

After that, Justin will head to Madison Square Garden next week. It is currently unclear if Justin’s arrest will affect the upcoming tour dates.

Selfish Singer’s North American Tour

In February, Timberlake added additional dates to his North American tour. This included shows in Montreal, Detroit, Louisville, Dallas, Nashville, Orlando, Charlotte, Nashville, and Pittsburgh.

Then, there will be a performance in Memphis. Timberlake’s tour is supposed to end with a December 16 performance at Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
