Savannah Chrisley Reveals Julie Chrisley Health Scare At Inhumane Kentucky Prison

Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley has stuck by her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley since their incarceration, and has documented her family’s journey on her “Unlocked” podcast.  This week Savannah opened up about the inhumane conditions her mother Julie is living in at the Kentucky prison, and her fears for her mother’s health.  Keep reading to find out what’s going on with Savannah’s mom.

Julie Chrisley – Getting Sick In Prison

Savannah Chrisley was raised with a silver spoon, and recently got a crash course in real life when her famous parents for carted off to prison and she began raising her brother and niece. 

When Savannah isn’t playing mom to Grayson and Chloe, she’s visiting her mom at the Kentucky Women’s prison she is in. 

Todd and Julie’s daughter has also been giving Growing Up Chrisley fans an inside look at life behind bars for her parents.

On the new episode of “Unlocked,” Savannah revealed that the heat is unbearable at her mother’s prison and is often 100 degrees during the day. 

The extreme temperatures actually made Julie Chrisley physically sick, and according to Savannah several other inmates have passed out from heat exhaustion.

Savannah Chrisley  – Speaks Out

Julie Chrisley’s daughter explained, “the heat index was 105, 110 degrees and that’s what Mom’s living in… Conditions like that with absolutely no air. And it can be 100 degrees inside the building. She literally said that she got physically sick because she got so hot. So, you have these women who are suffering from heat exhaustion and they’re passing out. But yet, there’s service dogs that have air conditioning. None of it makes sense to me.”

This isn’t the first time the Chrisley Kids have publicly shamed the prison where Julie is serving her sentence.  Reps from the prison have actually released statements in the past regarding their accusations.
