According to Page Six, Barack Obama has decided not to endorse Kamala Harris. And of course, the vice president can’t help but wonder why and whether or not it might have to do with any of the beef that’s between them.

Over the weekend, Joe Biden announced that he would be stepping down as the Democratic nominee for this year’s presidential race.

And while Biden immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the new nominee, Barack Obama didn’t, and neither did former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,” Obama said in his own statement.

“But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.”

What’s Next For Kamala Harris And The Dems?

This is certainly a huge change in tune to what Obama said only a few weeks ago when he said he was confident that Joe Biden could still beat Donald Trump at the polls.

“I believe that Joe Biden’s vision of a generous, prosperous, and united America that provides opportunity for everyone will be on full display at the Democratic Convention in August,” Obama said.

“And I expect that every single one of us are prepared to carry that message of hope and progress forward into November and beyond.”

For Kamala Harris, this certainly has to hurt. Right now, all signs point to her being the new candidate for her party, but if she doesn’t have the backing of influential people like the Obamas, then she is certainly in trouble.
