Chrisley Knows Best star Julie Chrisley had her sentence vacated by the judges after the 11th Circuit oral arguments appeal. Now, she’s not listed as being in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons, read on to find out what might be going on.
Julie Chrisley Might Get Home Early
The appeal judges found that Savannah Chrisley’s mom had been sentenced to too many years in prison as the judge miscalculated. So, the chances are good that she will get some of her sentence for fraud reduced when she appears in the lower court for resentencing on September 25.
Notably, Julie Chrisley was not found guilt-free when her sentence was vacated. In other words, she still serves time for her crime, but the amount of time will need to be recalculated. While Chrisley Knows Best alum, Savannah Chrisley hopes she will be home by Thanksgiving, is she already out of prison?
Chrisley Knows Best Star Out Of Prison?
This weekend, TV Shows Ace reported that the former USA Network star “is listed as “not in custody” on the Bureau of Prisons website.” Well, that sounds curious, especially as reportedly, the Bureau won’t divulge her whereabouts.
The outlet wondered if she might have already been released. However, that’s unlikely. But, from the information received, it is possible that Julie Chrisley could be in a hospital. Or, she could be in transit to another facility. Apparently, there are lots of reasons why she could be listed as not in custody.
In Transit To Atlanta?
When the court considered the Chrisley Knows Best star’s legal team’s request to get resentenced via Zoom, it was denied. Savannah Chrisley sounded extremely upset about it. In fact, she alleged that her mom would be transported a long way with dangerous male prisoners. Plus, she would be shackled. Possibly, the long and slow journey began already.
The outlet noted that “the Federal Bureau of Prisons stated they could not comment directly on Julie Chrisley’s whereabouts and cited safety as the reason why.”
USA Network Star Was Sentenced to 7 Years In Prison
Initially, Savannah’s mom was sentenced to seven years in prison, Until now, she’s been held in a Kentucky facility for about 18 months. Through a prison reform program, she got some time cut off that sentence, and right now, with good behavior, her release date is estimated to be in June 2028. However, that might be considerably reduced after the upcoming resentencing.
What are your thoughts about Julie Chrisley not being listed as being in custody on the Bureau of Prisons website? Do you think she might have been transferred to a hospital? Or, is she en route to Atlanta for her resentencing? Sound off in the comments below, and remember to come back here for all your Chrisley Knows Best news, updates, and spoilers.
