Photos of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson working on care packages for a non-profit organization made rounds on the internet. In the pictures that were uploaded by Ferguson’s assistant Antonia Marshall, the prince looked relaxed and cheerful months after he stepped down from his royal duties following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Marshal uploaded 10 photos on her Instagram account. In the photos, the Duke and the Duchess of York were packing cupcakes into gift bags for the Thames Hospice in Windsor to support the National Health Service during this global health crisis.
“@sarahferguson15 and @hrhthedukeofyork packing all the care packages for @thameshospice in Windsor today. The York Family are a wonderful and steadfast unit and through this crisis, are continuously helping others. So proud of them all…” the post said.
Duke of York Resigns From Royal Duties
Prince Andrew resigned from his royal duties as a senior royal back in November after his friendship with Epstein got him involved in the latter’s scandal. In his BBC Newsnight interview, the 60-year-old Duke of York appeared like he didn’t have that much sympathy for the victims of Epstein.
Epstein committed suicide in prison while awaiting charges of sex trafficking. Prince Andrew drew ire from the public for his failure to apologize for being friends with the disgraced financier.
Since then, the Duke was seen in public a few times and the last one was back in January. He was seen attending a Sunday service at St Mary the Virgin Church in Norfolk with Queen Elizabeth.
Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugenie Help Out
It’s not only the Duke and the Duchess of York who is doing what they can to support the frontliners during the coronavirus pandemic. Their two daughters, Princess Beatrice, 31 years old, and Princess Eugenie, 29 years old have been sending out thoughtful gifts to healthcare workers for their sacrifices and contribution in the battle against the pandemic.

Prince Andrew maintains a close relationship with his ex-wife and his daughters.
“He plays a very traditional role in her life. She’s his greatest supporter,” an insider said in an interview with PEOPLE about Prince Andrew and Beatrice’s relationship. He is set to give her away at her upcoming royal wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
“Beatrice would never do anything to be hurtful to her father. He’s going to be by her side and she’s going to be by his,” the source added.
