Then Peter admitted to Hannah Ann that he still had feelings for Madison Prewett, who already left the show. Peter ended his engagement to Hannah Ann, which led to an awkward encounter on After the Final Rose. The couple hasn’t spoken since then.

Even Peter Weber was shy about talking about their relationship. However, Hannah Ann hasn’t been shy about it. She’s been throwing shade at him on social media and in recent interviews. She’s made good use of her quarantine time to think about their relationship, and it appears that he is as well. Looking back, Peter admits that he shouldn’t have proposed to Hannah Ann. He still had many questions about their relationship.

Peter spoke to Nick Viall on his Viall Files podcast. He admitted that he should have pursued a serious relationship rather than an engagement with Hannah Ann. Peter also insisted that he was wrong for leading her on.

“I was 100% in the wrong with Hannah Ann,” Peter said, as quoted by Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “Ending that relationship… honestly even going back to Australia and, like, the engagement, I was so confused. I’ve never been that confused in my entire life and that last week was such an emotional roller coast for me. I probably shouldn’t have gotten down on one knee if I wasn’t 100% sure about that.”

Peter thought that proposing to Hannah Ann would help him get over Madison. He was obviously confused between the two women. Peter received backlash among Bachelor Nation for being indecisive. His indecisiveness stuck with him until the very last minute. During his interview, Peter also explained that couples don’t spend as much time with each other after filming ends.

He says that he and Hannah Ann only hung out three times. Not getting to know her was the downfall of their relationship. Once they spent more time with each other, Peter knew they weren’t the perfect match. The reason why Peter and Hannah Ann didn’t work out it’s because they “didn’t challenge each other enough.”
