Just this past weekend, Prince William met with Donald Trump and Jill Biden at the Notre Dame reopening in Paris.

While a lot of eyes were on all the international statesmen that were there, a lot of people also couldn’t help but notice that the future king of England seemingly had a good time with the President-Elect.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “William looks way too eager and giddy both in the video and in the photos. With Trump you need to counter his power games. Macron and Trudeau do it well. William just completely ceded the power to Trump here.”

Another critic wrote, “It’s interesting to see the change in tone of the British press from the last time William was in the same room with Trump. When Trump made that state visit in 2019, the British press said that William and Kate were very careful not to be photographed with Trump and they even refused to go to the luncheon.”

“Now it’s such a good thing that he met with Trump and it’s a sign that he’s a global statesman.”

And then there was this comment as well: “He shares the same values as Trump so no surprise he’d be tripping over his feet to meet him. He’s so thirsty and desperate for attention, respect and adoration. Stupid and ugly…pick a struggle William.”
