Savannah Chrisley Reacts To Todd & Julie’s Pardon

Savannah Chrisley heard on May 27 that President Donald Trump had granted her mom and dad, Todd and Julie Chrisley, a pardon. When she heard from the White House, the Chrisley Knows Best alum was obviously emotional. Read on to catch her reaction as she broke the news to her many social media followers.

Breaking The News About Todd & Julie

As soon as Savannah heard that her mom and dad would be pardoned this week, the former reality TV star took to her Instagram account and described the grateful joy that seemed to overwhelm her. Naturally, she felt happy because she worked ceaselessly to get them home after their joint conviction that sent them to prison for a combined total of 19 years.

In her reel, the guardian of her little sister Chloe and her younger brother, Grayson Chrisley, thanked her many fans for their prayers. Plus, she thanked Donald Trump for restoring her family. She said, in part:

…The president called me personally as I was walking into Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents. So both my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow…The fact that the president called me, I will forever be grateful for President Trump, his administration, and everyone along the way.

There were lots of people to thank, so the star of their upcoming docuseries on Lifetime quickly mentioned her “lawyers, [and] the people who put in countless hours and effort and love for my family to make sure that my parents got home.”

‘Freaking Out’

Savannah Chrisley talked about being grateful, but seemed to run out of words. So, she told her followers that she was “freaking out,” adding, “I’m still sweating.” Then, she turned her mind to practicalities, saying, “We’re getting some clothes together for mom and dad, getting their room put together upstairs, and I’m just speechless.”

Noting that the sudden good news “didn’t feel real,” Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter gave thanks for those people who kept on “loving” and “supporting” her family throughout the dark times.
