Coronation Street Spoilers – James Bailey’ Sexuality Is Questioned

Earlier this year, James’ sexuality was exposed due to a mistake that Danny Tomlinson (Dylan Brady) made by making a comment online. This caused him to have a meeting with his manager at County and the club’s press officer. He would go on to deny his sexuality to the public and would go on to insisting that he was straight. This led him to be advised to say nothing, which could let the attention that has been placed on him pass.

James Bailey, Coronation Street footballer, will be facing homophobia by a “fan” of his team in a nasty incident. It seems that there will be trouble ahead for the football player as he bumps into a homophobic Weatherfield County supporter who targets him and attacks him with homophobic slurs. This happens when James and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) are having a chat in the street and are approached by the so-called fan who will go on a tirade. Upon hearing the homophobic insults, James will become angry about it, and the situation will begin to turn violent. This causes Tim to step in to calm things down.
