Below Deck Fans React – Guest Attacks Captain Kerry

Captain Kerry Titheradge - Below Deck - Bravo

Below Deck fans have seen a lot of badly behaved guests over the years, and in the latest episode on Bravo, they watched a drunk guest attack Captain Kerry Titheradge, and she was evicted from the St. David in the Caribbean. Many fans reacted, but their reactions might not be what you would expect.

The Guest Put Up A Fight

Kelly, a guest with a bunch of people on the charter, got drunk, defied safety orders, and ended up being forcibly separated until the cops arrived. And Captain Kerry was within his rights as the person in charge of the vessel.

Bravo fans saw that despite being warned not to, Kelly leaped overboard without any safety vest. That meant that the crew had to put their lives at risk to get her out. Seething with rage, she scratched Kerry’s face, and eventually, while she cursed them all out, she was separated from the rest of the guests.

In the show, Below Deck Captain Kerry said:

Her jumping in the water right now, that’s a big f–k you. Now, what’s important to me is her safety and my crew’s. When I ask you specifically not to do something and you go right against what I say, we’ve got a friggin’ problem.

So, as she continued to resist and fight them, the cops were called. Of course, as some guests do, she reminded everyone that she had connections, saying,

“I got connections, I got the FBI in my family…They’re f–king a–holes. They’re Democrats! Democrats!”

Fans React To The Scene

As one would expect, the show was discussed in some detail, and over on Reddit, folks reacted to the unfortunate scenes of ugly drunken aggression. However, not everyone hated it.

One reason that emerged seemed to focus on boring seasons and episodes. One critic noted, “I had just been saying to my partner that we hadn’t seen bad guests in a while – didn’t even make it to 3pm lmfao. Speedrunning it.”

Here are some other remarks that seemed to show the expected condemnation didn’t arrive:

  • As thoroughly disgusting a group as they are, the season needed it so we can hopefully get away from another instagram cut-away, slow-mo coffee pour, or solene snogging crew no. 28486…
  • We definitely needed the spice of these people even though they are the most awful guests…
  • Omg I’m so effing entertained. Kelly is OFF her rocker!
  • Say what you want about Kelly, but she is working hard to save this season…After that disaster of a Below Deck meets Summer House meets Love Island episode, this was so much better.

All three below deck series are really my favorite on Bravo.. The crew are so entertaining.. Would love to see some new episodes if the Below Deck Sail Yacht and Adventure… Seem they were short lived. Didn’t get a chance to take off. From the beautiful places the go and the crew drama that’s created. I live to watch them all. I fel Capt. Kerry had every right to keep that crazy Kelly safe from herself. She could have killed herself. I really hope they bring Capt. Sandy back. She’s a very inspiring woman to all her crew. Her character is fare, helpful, and genuine.. I really hope you don’t cancel these series.
