Sister Wives star Kody Brown was named as a competitor in the upcoming fourth season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test on Fox. TLC fans instantly took to social media to discuss the unpopular former polygamist.

The news about the ex-husband of Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown was met with about the same enthusiasm as that of Tom Sandoval. In other words, fans were underwhelmed. However, as they love to hate Kody Brown, people were quick to comment about it.

When Katie Joy from Without a Crystal Ball shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, she mocked him a bit, saying in her caption:

As expected, Kody Brown is preparing for his exit from Sister Wives to become a reality tv show hopper by starring in Season 4 of Special Forces.

Given that Kody has child support obligations & a massive mortgage, I fully expect to see him on every possible show offered. He will be the new Kate Gosselin.

Kody is no stranger to dramatics and fights. He’s also not brave enough to actually be in the armed services – so a perfect way to pretend he has valor when he has none.

Sister Wives fans rushed to talk about the dad of 18 kids who sports ringlets being on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Certainly, it seems that they will tune in, just to hate-watch him on the show. One commenter wrote, “I just want to be in Christine’s living room watching her crack up while she’s watching this show.”

Other Reality TV Stars On The Fox Show

While critics slammed Tom Sandoval, he did surprisingly well; even though his exit was a bit embarrassing after he faked hypothermia. But others seemed made for the show. Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron did well alongside Nick Viall, also from Bachelor Nation.

Hannah Brown actually won her season. But Savannah Chrisley dropped out quite quickly. Possibly, none of them were ever despised as much as Kody Brown, who disowned his sons, favored one wife, and constantly irritated with his tantrums.

Fox might have found a few extra viewers as well. As one critic of the show said, “I just saw a post about this!! I seriously had never heard about this show but am going to check it out for fun!!”
