A Question For Reneé

The news about Reneé Rapp arrived on YouTube via Today, and fans are talking about it at the moment, though it was posted nearly a week ago. It went down during the 8 Before 8 series. She also talked about her ‘Bite Me’ Album her and collab with Paris Hilton.

Reading out questions from fans, the singer, actress known for her role as Regina George in Mean Girls, cited one of them that read:

If you had a guest starring role on SVU, what character would you play?

Reneé, who seemed delighted by the question has acted in other roles like HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls. But perhaps she secretly would love to be on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

A Unique Role Choice

Of course, when she revealed who she would like to play on the crime show, there would need to be a lot of work for the writers. It turns out that Reneé Rapp would like to act as “Mariska Hargitay’s lover.” 

Mariska, of course, plays the role of Captain Olivia Benson who helms the SVU team as a commander. While she’s not bisexual or lesbian on the show, some fans speculated about her because she seems to have an emotional connection with Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot (Stephanie March).

Reneé, who is openly lesbian, added:

She would be gay, finally. There was an episode where they were talking about it and considering if she was gay. I feel like Christopher Maloney’s character was like, ‘No, like you’re a lesbian,'” and she was like, ‘Um, no.'” Liar. I would be her lover and we would somehow get tangled in like an undercover kind of… probably with like a drug empire.

Fans React In The Comments

As there were other subjects in the Q&A, not all of the responses were about SVU. Some of the viewers talked about her “beautiful and soothing” voice as a singer. However, her desire to play a role with Captain Olivia Benson didn’t go unnoticed.

One fan wrote, “HAHAHAHA the question about SVU and her answer is PURE GOLD.”

Meanwhile, another appreciative viewer commented, “Reneé wanting to play Mariska Hargitay’s lover is the most important thing that’s happened to me in a long time.”
