Prince Harry Meeting – King Charles Protected By Queen Camilla?

Prince Harry recently visited the UK and it included a meeting with his father, King Charles. Of course, many headlines arrived about it and some media outlets spoke about the meeting as the possible start of reconciliation. However, behind the scenes, allegedly, it seems that King Charles was carefully protected by someone the controversial prince wasn’t expecting. Read on for more.

Tom Parker Bowles Called Harry Out

On Friday, royal commentator Neil Sean revealed some viewpoints on the meeting during his vlog, Daily News Headlines. In it, he led up to his discussion about the unexpected twist to the meeting by talking about Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles.

Neil reminded royal family fans that he’d publicly defended his mother after the publishing of Prince Harry’s book Spare.  At the time, Neil noted that Tom’s actions were “unprecedented” for a private citizen. And now, because of that, folks shouldn’t be totally surprised to discover that Prince Harry was, in his opinion, somewhat thwarted when he arrived at Clarence House.

Harry Expected A One-On-One Meeting

According to Neil, media outlets received tips about Prince Harry’s movements to ensure his arrival made headlines. Notably, Neil alleged that Harry thought the meeting was just going to be between him and his father.

This time around, there weren’t public demands for apologies. Possibly, Harry’s new PR team schooled him to approach the meeting with a softer attitude. However, Neil claimed things didn’t go exactly to Harry’s plan.

Citing an excellent source, Neil reported that Prince Harry felt shocked to find Queen Camilla at the meeting. While Harry waited for a while, because the King was busy, he hadn’t expected Queen Camilla to be there. Allegedly, he supposedly believed the Queen would simply excuse herself and leave them to it. But she didn’t go away.

Camila Protected Her Man?

Neil, praised Queen Camilla for “standing by her man” and protecting the King. The royal commentator reasoned that with King Charles’s recent health issues, he needed to avoid any additional stress or anxiety, so Queen Camilla’s presence was a logical and necessary precaution.

While the media portrayed the meeting as a success for Harry, Camilla’s presence was a “fly in the ointment” he didn’t anticipate. Furthermore, Neil pointed out the history of mistrust, reminding viewers that Harry himself had previously called Queen Camilla “dangerous” in his book and on television.

Given that history, Neil claimed, it made her presence even more justified as a protective measure for the King. That way, any private conversation couldn’t really be used against the family later.

In the opinion of the royal expert, the meeting didn’t go as smoothly for Harry as he’d hoped. Instead, Camilla protected the King, which Neil touted as a victory for the royal household. He opined that Harry’s carefully crafted PR came to nothing because Camilla prevented him from potentially exploiting it for his personal gain.
