Is General Hospital Drew Cain Being Treated Unfairly – Or Getting Exactly What He Deserves?

General Hospital spoilers say that while he’s certainly done a lot of horrific things in the past, is it really all his fault? Clearly, we are talking about Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) as there are some viewers out there who really think he’s being treated unfairly.
Is Drew Being Treated Unfairly?
After all, he does have Quartermaine blood running through his veins and he is no different than the rest of his family.
But for some reason or another, he’s been made out as one of the biggest villains that this fictional town of Port Charles has ever seen.
Sure, he’s trying to destroy people like Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) that get in his way, but it’s not like people like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have acted any differently in the past, too, right?
Of course, General Hospital fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Drew is royally trying to screw Michael Corinthos any chance he gets. Drew was there for Michael when Jason couldn’t be pre 2017.”
“He has to still have some of Jason’s memories, because if Jason’s memories were wiped from his head, then he’d forget everyone he ever knew including his own daughter Scout.”
What’s Next For Drew?
Another critic of the show wrote, “The Q’s all had their fair share of bad behavior, but they never deliberately hurt one of their own with that level of cruelty. Yes, they had affairs, shady business deals, stole, lied and schemed.”
“They occasionally back stabbed each other to gain control of ELQ. But, they would never put a dagger directly in a family member’s heart and then twist the knife with a smile.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Everyone in town bending over backwards to help Michael is complete nonsense. Like everyone at the restaurant claiming Michael didn’t punch Drew. Michael is an arrogant, rich, jerk who lashes out like a spoiled child anytime he doesn’t get his way. But everyone still coddles him.”

My only thought for redemption for Drew’s behavior is that somehow he has been controlled or altered again. It wouldn’t be the first time someone found a way to alter his complete personality. The Cassadines did it a couple times and Faison was teamed with Lady Cassadine before his supposed death. If this is the real Drew with no manipulation he has turned into a major villain.
I like Michael and feel he and everyone has been screwed over by Drew and he needs to get what’s owed h. I hope it was willow that shot him
I feel if Drew had been introduced to canvas differently, he would have been accepted by fans much better. But de to Drew’s changed persona to be worst that any Q behavior I can remember he has made his bed and now has to sleep in it. More than sure Drew will get some sort of redemption, but being accepted by the Q’s just won’t occur.
