Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have been at Balmoral Estate in Scotland since mid-March because of the Covid-19 outbreak. And while they have been reaching out with citizens and royal fans via Zoom calls, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are said to be tired of being in isolation for so long, especially as many people all across the UK are headed back to work.

ITV News and Royal Editor Chris Chip and producer Lizzie Robinson suggested that Balmoral Estate is a place that a lot of people wouldn’t mind to shelter-in-place in, there’s a very good chance that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are getting bored with their surroundings, even if they are royal and luxurious surroundings. The two spoke about the matter during their Royal Rota podcast.

Ship told listeners, “I know how much Camilla and Charles like the countryside and all the rest of it. But at what point do they get a bit fed up of being at Birkhall? At what point do they say, ‘oh God I wish we decided to spend the lockdown in Highgrove’ or ‘I wish we’d stayed at Clarence House for the lockdown?’ I’m sure everyone’s getting a bit bored with their surroundings.”

Robinson then added, “Well they really have picked an absolutely beautiful setting to spend their lockdown. The Balmoral estate is huge and vast but also really spectacular and very beautiful. They will have plenty of different walks that they can go on every day so I think they’ve chosen quite well.”
