General Hospital Spoilers: Kirsten Storms’ Holiday Update, Will We See Maxie Jones Soon?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) has broken her recent social media silence to update fans on her progress.

You might remember she took a leave of absence to both move to Tennessee and to have another brain operation-well, she’s gotten a second opinion and posted it on Instagram.

Here’s What Kirsten Starts Out With

Kirsten posted, “Seasons Greetings, my Instagram friends- I hope everyone is making the most of the winter break with their families and loved ones.

Even though I’ve been doing a fair bit of complaining about the cold weather (to anyone who will listen), I’m actually kind of LOVING it.

I totally freaked out when I saw some *very small* snow flurries…that melted the instant they touched…anything-I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face in that moment if I tried.

(Don’t judge, I was born in Florida and later moved to California); alright… I’ve received a ton of support on social media regarding this, so I want to provide an update on my medical situation.

My most recent appointment was with a new neurosurgeon in St. Louis-he informed me that I am in the “gray zone” concerning the aneurysm procedure.

Kirsten Continued, It Seems It’s A “Keep An Eye On It” Situation

Kirsten continued, “It’s not extremely small, but it’s also not at the point where surgery is required. I can either keep an eye on it or proceed with the coiling procedure, but he assured me that I wasn’t in any immediate danger, like “OMG! it’s going to burst tomorrow!

Obviously, that’s fantastic news;  I’m trying to determine if I’m okay with the “wait and see if it gets worse” approach. I definitely know that I’m not keen on jumping straight onto the operating table.

Kirsten said further, “As I sit in this “gray zone” thinking about my plan, I want to thank you all for sharing your messages and stories about your experiences.

I really needed those….and I had no clue (funny how that is, right?). It’s easy to be silly and have fun on these platforms, but discussing online rumors and my feelings about them?

Hah….I’d prefer to switch to decaf coffee-my psychologist would say that’s a clear case of “avoidance.” Well, I’m out of jokes, so HAPPY HOLIDAYS, and maybe I’ll be back in Port Charles soon.
