Janelle Brown Shares Vulnerable Post On Rediscovering Herself

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown and Kody, her ex, raised six kids: Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabe, Garrison, and Savanah. So, one could assume the TLC star knows exactly where she stands in life. However, she shared a poignant post on social media about where she’s at right now.

On Friday this week, Janelle Brown took to her Instagram and showed a reel of herself walking down a long road. Trees lined the sides of it, and she came across as a rather lonely figure. Well, the TLC star felt rather introspective, so she shared about her vulnerabilities.

In her caption, Kody Brown’s ex said:

It’s not that we aren’t grateful. It’s that somewhere along the way, we forgot to check in with the woman underneath all the titles and that’s where I’ve been lately… remembering her. Listening to her. Letting her have a seat at the table again.

Next, the mom of Garrison who passed away too young, talked  about others who might feel the same way these days. She added, “If you’ve been feeling that same tug, maybe it’s time to pause and ask, “What do I want next?”

Then she finished off by sharing with her Sister Wives fans: “… you’re still allowed to want more, even when your life is full.”

Nobody condemned Janelle for her thoughts, and most TLC fans felt grateful that she shared them.

One follower responded by saying, “It’s a crazy feeling when you aren’t that kind of mom anymore. When my son moved out of state to be with his now wife, I was so lost. Rediscovering myself has been and is a journey. But it’s also a beautiful thing.”

A Lot To Adjust To

From the latest season of the show, TLC fans know that Janelle has been dealing with a lot. For example, she had to fight to try and get a spiritual release from Kody Brown.

Of course, she still grieves for her boy, Garrison, and she’s trying to adjust to life in North Carolina in the flower business which faces setbacks. Then there was bickering over Coyote Pass.
