Suddenly Amish Recap & Spoilers – Season 1 Episode 4: Esmerelda’s Next Steps, Billie Jo’s Date, Matt Returns

Suddenly Amish Spoilers And Recap for Tuesday, February 3 indicate that Kendra and Esmerelda talk out in the yard about her eyelashes and nails.

Kendra is not ready to deal with this right now. Kendra says she feels beautiful but she is afraid that looking in a mirror would make her think incredibly different. Kendra encourages Esmerelda to so through with the changes to join them.

Esmerelda Considers Next Steps

After her conversation with Kendra, Esmerelda considering taking the plunge. In the meantime, James shows Judah how to put a bridle on the house and hook him up to the buggy.

Judah doesn’t know anything about leading a horse. James shows Judah the break and turn signals so he knows how to stop the buggy.

Judah wants to change the design on the buggy if he is allowed to do so. James allows Judah to drive showing him how to make the horse run.

Judah has never ridden a horse but it having fun driving the buggy. Judah has problems trying to use the break. Judah is not so good at keeping the horse on the right side of the road. James finds horse poop disgusting.

Judah continues to hide he sexuality from James because he doesn’t want to be shunned. Judah knows he has to come clean soon and continues to question taking the next step. Will Judah be shunned over his sexual preferences?

Esmerelda Finally Gives In

Esmerelda removes her nails and eyelashes and the ladies help her to get dressed in her Amish clothing. Esmerelda believes she must look so much younger now.

Esmerelda joins the others who tell her how beautiful she looks. Aaron, James, and the other hug her and tell her how proud they are of her decision.

Judah is very proud of Esmerelda and knows how much it took to change. Esmerelda feels nice that everyone is supporting her.

Matt is back in Texas and feels that it has been ripped out of his hands. Matt wants to explore his bond with Kendra. Matt says James is crazy and he feel the others will be treated the same way he was.

Billie Jo Feels Like Work Is Never Done

Billie Jo opens up about the work they do on the farm. Billie Jo says the work is never done. Allen wants to take it easy on the recruits. Billie Jo needs to find an Amish suitor.

Aaron cannot hear and he feels left out of the conversations. Allen hopes that everything is okay with Aaron even though he doesn’t have his hearing aids.

Allen and Aaron go to a friends house to paint their house. Allen introduces Aaron to Jacob, who becomes Billy Jo’s suiter eventually.

Aaron says this would be easier to do this with a sprayer. Jacob doesn’t seem to be too impressed with Aaron’s painting skills. Billie Jo and the other girls learn to make butter.

Allen Talks To Jacob About Kids

Jacob has no experience dating because he has never been married. Aaron asks is Jacob is interested in dating an English girl.

Aaron is frustrated because he cannot understand anything they are saying to him. Aaron is struggling very badly because of the buzzing in his ears without his regular hearing aids.

Allen believes that Jacob may be the right guy for Billie Jo and may consider setting them up on a date. Will Billy Jo and Jacob be a good match?

Will Billie Jo and Jacob hit is off as a couple once they finally meet? Do these two have what it takes to become a couple and to make it in the Amish community together?

Amish Approved Hearing Aids

James gives Aaron some Amish approved hearing aids but they do not work for him. Aaron is going to have to do what he has always done and adapt. Billie Jo is going on a blind date with Jacob. Allen has set this up to help Billie Jo get into the swing of dating in the Amish world.

Jacob and Billie Jo go on a walk. Allen says courting is very simple. Allen says he and Sarah dated for two and a half years before they got married.

Billie Jo asks Jacob about his life. Jacob isn’t talking much, Billie Jo has to keep pushing for answers. Jacob wishes he had a car. Billy Jo shows Jacob her tattoo. Jacob tells Billie Jo that he has tattoos as well. Jacob reveals that he has his nipples pierced.

Jacob is opening up to Billy Jo about his secrets and she loves it. Billy Jo finds him interesting. Billy Jo isn’t sure there is a romantic connection.

Matt Returns To The Amish

Matt feels that he has some unfinished business so he has come back to confront James. The ladies bring lemonade to the guys who are working in the barn.

Billie Jo gets questions about Jacob. Billie Jo says Jacob is an odd Amish man. Matt has to face James again if he wants to be Amish. Matt is spotted walking toward the barn.

Kendra runs to Matt and falls. Everyone else comes to greet Matt except for James who believes he didn’t get the hint. James wants to know who Matt thinks he is.

Kendra cannot feel her elbow at all. James wants to know why Matt is back. Matt wants to rejoin. Billie Jo wonders if Matt is back for Kendra. Allen believes they need to talk a bit.

Matt knows that anything can happen right now. Allen wants to give Matt another chance. Allen accuses James of being jealous over Kendra.
