Previously, very little was teased about Nicky (Kimberly Hart-Simpson). Then, it was hinted she would be a new love interest for Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). Now, we are finally getting some nitty-gritty details about this woman, who looks similar to Daniel’s dead wife.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Daniel Osbourne Has A Type

Corrie spoilers reveal that when Daniel got together with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), it wasn’t a true romance. He was simply trying to find a way to get over Sinead Osbourne (Katie McGlynn). The mother of his child died after a battle with cancer in gripping emotional scenes that will be forever etched in the minds of viewers.

The similar features of Sinead and Bethany were not coincidental, though. He will get involved with a new woman. It just so happens that Nicky will also look a bit like Sinead.

Widower’s New Love Interest

Fans are concerned that so soon after coming home from the retreat that Daniel would get involved with another woman. After all, if he is still talking to Sinead’s photo, then he really isn’t ready to move on.

Coronation Street Updates – Nicky Wheatley’ s Personality

Coronation Street spoilers from Metro reveal that there is some new information about Nicky. One of the details shared by actor Rob Mallard is that Nicky has no boundaries. It was also teased that while she physically looks similar to Sinead, her personality is a completely different story.

“Nicky has no boundaries and for Daniel, who is so uptight, it’s refreshing to have someone who doesn’t tip-toe around him. She is very bolshy and that is what attracts him… She is very opposite to Sinead because Sinead wasn’t like that but they are both a similar height, both are blonde and from the first glance, subconsciously, he will have been drawn to her. But she has a completely different energy to Sinead.”

No Boundaries Means Bad News?

What exactly does Mallard mean by “no boundaries?” Bad news instantly comes to mind, but it could also be a good thing. Perhaps she is able to get him out of his shell and helps him move forward. Maybe her being so bold and brazen is exactly what Daniel needs right now. Maybe “no boundaries” simply refers to her being tons of fun.

However, we highly doubt he is ready to move on from Sinead, so we will have to keep watching to see how this all plays out. Expect to meet Nicky on June 19, 2020.
