General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Accident Twist – Linked to Charlotte & Danny, Not Curtis & Jordan

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the show may be cleverly using some misdirection when it comes to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and what really happened on Route 91.

Things may not be quite as they seem, so let’s discuss Brook Lynn and what she might actually be covering up.

It’s true that Brook Lynn guzzled wine and drove when she shouldn’t have been behind the wheel. It’s also true that Brook Lynn was acting a little nervous when she finally made it to Charlie’s Pub, so we have to consider why.

The show presumably wants viewers to believe Brook Lynn might’ve been the one to run Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) off the road.

It’d be pretty horrible of Brook Lynn to just leave the car accident victims for dead like that.

However, Brook Lynn ultimately did something that went against that theory in the April 9 episode.

Once Brook Lynn returned home, she chatted with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) about Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and how talented he is.

Brook Lynn was one proud bio mom as she delivered news about Gio and appreciated how much their bond has grown.

There was a time when Brook Lynn wasn’t sure Gio would ever accept her, especially after the chaos of the Nurses Ball.

Now Gio and Brook Lynn have a strong connection, so Brook Lynn couldn’t be happier about that.

It was an odd, upbeat conversation for someone who just caused a serious accident to have, so maybe Brook Lynn didn’t cause Jordan’s wreck at all.

Instead, Brook Lynn might’ve been tangled up in a different ordeal entirely that night. Perhaps Brook Lynn either caused Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to drive Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) car off the road or simply found them in their own crash aftermath.

Brook Lynn may have wanted to call for help, but Charlotte and Danny might’ve convinced her to let them contact Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) without her.

Danny might’ve insisted Carly would use Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) connections and make this go away.

That would’ve worked in Brook Lynn’s favor since she really shouldn’t have been drinking and driving. It was the kind of mistake that could’ve resulted in Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) losing their new foster parent approval for Phoebe.

Brook Lynn may have also been concerned about the possibility of charges and how a DUI would affect her future adoption chances with Chase.

As much as Brook Lynn would’ve hated abandoning Danny and Charlotte, she might’ve done it before driving to Charlie’s Pub as planned. Brook Lynn’s nervousness there may have been about leaving Charlotte and Danny behind.

Toward the end of GH’s April 9 episode, Tracy mentioned the awful accident on Route 91 that had traffic backed up. Brook Lynn seemed surprised to hear about it, which goes against the idea that she was responsible for Curtis and Jordan’s nightmare.

Instead, Brook Lynn may now be fretting over the possibility that Charlotte and Danny were tied to the other crash. Perhaps Brook Lynn is panicking at the thought of helping Danny and Charlotte cover up their own involvement in the second wreck.

Fortunately, Charlotte and Danny were seemingly out of the loop on Jordan and Curtis’ accident based on what they told Carly. That’s something Danny and Charlotte might promise Brook Lynn sooner or later.
