General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will seek out Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) this week on the ABC soap, demanding an explanation!

There’s a good chance by this time that Sonny’s found out Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was on Pier 55 when Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was shot.

Sonny Knew Jason Shooting Cullum Made No Sense

Sonny knew that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shooting Cullum made no sense, and it was like he was framing himself for the crime-he had to be covering up for someone.

He knew it wasn’t Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) although it would have made a lot of sense for Jason to take the hit for his son.

There’s a chance that someone will leak to Sonny that Britt was seen coming down hard on his grandson, getting him away from Cullum’s room, and he’ll demand answers.

Sonny knows Rocco has community service to do, but he also knows he has a hand injury, and wonders if it’s from shooting a gun.

Sonny knows it’s easy for someone to get a gun burn or otherwise injure their hand if it’s the first time ever shooting a gun, not expecting the kickback.

Sonny Also Knows Cullum Was Behind The Penthouse Fire That Nearly Killed Michael

Sonny also knows Cullum was behind the penthouse fire that nearly killed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) so eventually, he’ll have to be eliminated, but it’s not the right time.

So when this intel arrives to Sonny’s ears about Britt being heard admonishing Rocco that his life could be in danger and to stay away from Cullum’s room, he has to investigate!

He puts two and two together and figures, and figures right, that Rocco may have been the one whom Jason was covering for that night, and had gotten hold of Cullum’s gun. He just needs Britt to confirm his suspicions, plus he wants to touch base about what he’s learned about Jason.

Sonny Contacts Britt And Asks Her To Meet Him At Pozzulo’s

Sonny contacts Britt and asks her to meet him at Pozzulo’s-after giving Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) a new task, possibly having him keep an eye on her as well as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

Sonny tells her what he’s been able to find out about Jason’s location: it’s a WSB black site somewhere in Jakarta, Indonesia. That matches what Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) told Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and it’s believable.

Sonny flat-out asks Britt if she was trying to protect Rocco from Cullum, and if Rocco was who Jason was protecting.

Britt spills the secret, knowing Sonny will probably be able to protect Rocco much better than she and her brother and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will.
