Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! – A Crazy, Fun Reality Show Drops Soon

A Crazy Fun Reality Show

Per Harper’s Bazaar, the show brings a “fun” scenario in a crazy sort of campsite experience.

It’s been well-anticipated because some excellent well-known faces participate.

The Premise

While the folks in the show chat away in Korean, there are subtitles and yes, it does look like fun.

Certainly, the trailer portrays that and it seems to be a combination of people running a B&B but with a difference. Instead of a house, they all go off camping.

As you can imagine, a lot of chaos happens because 50 guests take part in it. So, expect lots of hilarious scenes combined with action-packed endurance tests.

The Trailer Dropped 

Fans who tune in and watch it on Netflix should see lots of morning yoga and then, games many fans are familiar with. For example, there’s the “Delivery Box Quiz.”

Notably, it’s not all about games and play. Plenty of chores keep the cast busy

Their day starts with an early wake-up and Lee Kwang-soo noted in the trailer, that they end up working all day long.

So, it feels more like a never-ending run-around as they get through their duties. In the trailer on YouTube, they really seem to run a bit ragged. 

The B&B Cast – Yoo Jae-seok

First up, Yoo Jae-seok, “The B&B King & Rookie,”  finds a lot of affection from Korean fans. Their nickname for him is the “Nation’s MC.” He’s such a famous face because he hosts a lot of TV programs.

While he’s known for successful variety shows like Infinite Challenge and Running Man, in Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! it almost becomes too much of a heavy task because he just about collapses from exhaustion.

And that why he gets known as a “complete B&B rookie.”

Lee Kwang-soo

Next up, is Lee Kwang-soo who makes tons of people laugh as a comedian. Kwang-soo brings the smiles for many funny and chaotic scenes on Running Man. He and Yoo Jae-seok have a history together as well.

In the upcoming show, you’ll see him taking the role as the camp’s strict “drill sergeant.” Guests and the crew can expect hilarious busy orders being given.

Byeon Woo-seok

Then there’s Byeon Woo-seok who found massive popularity in the 2024 time-travel romance drama,. He gets described as a sort healer simply because he’s got a brilliant smile.

However sweet and endearing though, even he gets a bit clumsy under pressure as he goes about his daily tasks.

Still, he seems up for it and shows a lot of determination.  

Who Is Ji Ye-eun?

If you don’t know, Ji Ye-eun is a rising star in the Korean comedy scene. She’s dished a lot of sharp wit on SNL Korea and in her recent appearances on Running Man.

In Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! she takes on kitchen duties and in the trailer, that earns her a humorous roasting from Jae-seok who yells about the salt and spices.

The Draw For Viewers

Probably, the show will work for viewers because there’s great chemistry between the cast.

Because of their experience with Running Man, they know exactly how to push each other’s buttons for maximum laughable moments.

Thank goodness for Byeon Woo-seok who brings charm and that sort of balances the group out.

In the comments of the Netflix trailer, many fans say they can’t wait for the season to drop. One person wrote, “So sad Perfect Crown is ending this week but I’m glad I still have this to look forward to.”

If you’re not yet into Korean shows, maybe this is the time to start. Jae-seok’s B&B Rules! premieres on Netflix worldwide on May 26. The first five episodes drop that day, with the remaining five episodes arriving the following week on June 2.
